TO: ALL 3/20/90 FROM: Bob Blair AWAUG 3STARLINK GETS ANOTHER ADAMITE
The following was downloaded from the AWAUG BBS, 24 hrs. 202-56l-2475 and should be read in conjunction with my STARLINK WARNING elsewhere on ANN. Barry Wilson.

TO: ALL 3/20/90 FROM: Bob Blair AWAUG 3 SUBJ: Rob Friedman Rob called me tonight and asked me to let everyone know that he will not be able to join us here on t switching from Starlink back to PC Pursuit. It seems that he just received a bill from Starlink for over $140.00, including $90.00 for special charges to locations not directly serviced by Starlink (he indicated he was calling a BBS in Boston frequently). He didsay that all of the charges were valid, but that the special (TELCO) charges were too much and he can do better using PC PURSIUT. That is two of our regular (long- distance) callers to cancel Starlink (Barry Wilson also had an expensive experience with Starlink). The moral of the story seems to be that PC PURSUIT is better for those who do a great deal of calling, and Starlink does better for those who call less. (PCP costs $30.00 per month for 30 hours and $1.00 per hour thereafter - but did not reach AKRON, while
Starlink charges $1.50 per hour plus a special charge for certain locals). I've used both and PCP was less per month than I charged using Starlink. Now that the Akron BBS is not operating, PCP seems to be better as far as I am concerned. Bob Blair

[I AM USING PCPursuit Exclusively and recommend it to all of you, over starlink. Barry Wilson]
